Taylor was led by the top of their order, as their 1-2 punch of Taylor Smart and Dai Lee combined to go 5-for-6 with a double, home run and 8 runs scored. Ryan Wiggins drove in 3 runs and Alex Sloan chipped in 2 RBI, as Taylor lead 11-2 after 4 1/2 innings. The story on the mound was Max Dickinson, who pitched effectively with a lead, allowing 2 earned runs (6 total) on 8 hits in 6 innings of work. Dickinson was named the Series MVP for his work on the mound on Wednesday night. Trevor Mitsui completed a great series, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Taylor Brennan (2-for-4, double, 2 runs) and Sam Brown (2-for-4, double, triple, 2 RBI) also contributed offensively for the Stars.
