2010 Federal Way Buzz Season Preview

Buzz Baseball is very excited for the 2010 season. This will be a new look for the Buzz with only 5 returnees from the 2009 team. Keeping within the Buzz organization, many players have made their way to the 18U team. �We are excited for some of the young talent that will be a part of our program this year. We look to compete and showcase many of our players through out the season.

Catchers
The Buzz have three new faces behind the dish this year, led by two seniors Michael Sherwin and Austin Campbell. Austin Barr (sophomore from Camas, Wa) makes the trip up to be a part of the Buzz organization. We hope our catchers add some good pop to our lineup this season.

Infield
The infield is led by returnee Kenny Johnson (Linfield), Taylor Williams and Des Santos who come with great gloves and solid bats. Newcomer Michael Lucarelli is a solid addition to the middle of the field. Also returning is Lee Carson, who should be a main stay at 3rd base with Zach Cloe.

Outfield
The outfield is anchored by T.J Horsfall but has a great supporting cast with Michael Patenaude, Dan Williams, Craig Rainey, Kyler Martin, Derek Voigt and Andrew Jacobsen.

Pitching Staff
The Buzz pitching staff has to be its strong point for the upcoming season. Led by Taylor Williams (WSU), Drew Staples and Zach Cloe with many other strong arms like Eliot Morris, T.J Horsfall, Andrew Jacobsen, Austin Campbell and Nelson Atkinson. The staff is looking to be the glue of the team.

Schedule
Our season also begins with a Memorial Weekend tournament hosted by the Kent Bulldogs. We travel like many other teams in the league to Pullman and to Portland twice, finishing with the SPL Championships and the Baden Classic.
